Gigi Hadid And Zayn Malik Fuel Dating Rumours With Selfie

Do you hear that sound? No, not of Christmas bells - of teenage hearts everywhere breaking. That's right, the are-they-are-they-not couple of the moment, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have confirmed their relationship via a snap on Instagram.

Well, we say confirmed. There wasn't actually a caption on the photo, and Gigi could have been merely helping Zayn get some food out of his beard, but in this day and age, a selfie together speaks a thousand words.

It's not been an easy ride for Gigi and Zayn (Zizi? Gayn?), as poor Gigi went on a Twitter rant, blasting what was interpreted as people who belittle her and her love life. As for Zayn, dating a supermodel is surely a good move for his new bad boy rebrand. Watch this space...

It’s a rare thing these days that a showbiz pairing of this marvellous calibre comes to light, so we’re really hoping this one works out. Reports are swirling in the A-list land of love that one Ms Gigi Hadid – she of supermodel, Victoria Secrets wonder – has been ‘hooking up’ with Zayn Malik – he of boy band gone bad boy and One Direction denouncer. As we said folks these are early reports, but we all know there is no smoke without fire, right?

Gigi, 20, is recently single having split up with Joe Jonas and Zayn, 22, called off his engagement to Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards in March shortly before quitting One Direction.

The report, in an American magazine, cites a source who said, ‘they’re just seeing where it goes.’ But another insider tells the magazine, ‘I wouldn’t call them boyfriend and girlfriend. But seeing each other? Definitely. He’s chuffed.’

It was just last week that Zayn gave his first in-depth interview since leaving the most famous boy band on the planet to The Fader magazine and he wasn’t very complimentary about the X Factor-made band that made him a multi-millionaire.

‘That’s not music I would listen to,’ he said of One Directions multiple hits. ‘Would you listen to One Direction, sat at a party with your girl? I wouldn’t. To me, that’s not an insult, that’s me as a 22-year-old man. As Much as I was in that band, and I loved everything we did, that’s not music that I would listen to.’ So no serenading Gigi with ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ then? Darn it
