Gigi Hadid can now add security guard to her resume - as she saved the day at Chanel, calmly escorting a prankster, who stormed the runway, from the stage this morning. The scuffle happened during the finale of Virginie Viard's debut ready-to-wear collection for the house, which saw models strutting across a re-imagination of Parisian rooftops at the Grand Palais in Paris.
It all started to go wrong when YouTube prankster Marie Benoliel, AKA Marie S’Infiltre, decided to climb up onto the stage, dressed in a Chanel suit. As security were too late to intervene, Gigi - in velvet hot pants - rushed after the blogger, and prevented her from getting to the main stage area.

Tweeting from the event New York Times fashion critic Vanessa Friedman wrote, ‘Best @chanel finale video ever: Spot the catwalk- crasher! And spot the security guys running after her! #PFW’
Marie describes herself as an 'infiltrator' and a 'usurper'. Her YouTube bio reads, 'Marie infiltrates everywhere, [is an] usurper of all kinds, is encrusted without scruple, to better reveal the COMIC REALITY that is hidden in the news [sic].' The internet personality also crashed a Etam show earlier in the week.
One thing's for sure, wouldn't want to mess with Gigi.
