(Spoilers alert, obviously!)
Damian Powers and Giannina Gibelli's relationship in Love Is Blind has always been rocky. (Damian said 'I don't' at the altar, while Gigi said 'I do'.) Despite this they got back together, but now their love story has taken yet another turn. Gigi has revealed that she regrets outing Damian's sexual performance during a fiery row (she told him 'she wasn't having the best sex of [her] life' with him after he asked why she never 'seduces' him).
Talking to People, Gigi revealed that Damian cringes at that particular argument: 'Of course he wishes it wasn’t in front of cameras, but I also hadn’t planned to bring it up then. It just happened in the heat of the moment.'
'I knew then that he was my guy because his reaction wasn’t defensive,' Gigi continued. 'He’s never [held it against me], and we’ve learned to communicate really well. We worked through that.'
She added that while she discussed their sex life on television, she of course has boundaries: 'I'm not willing to disrespect my relationship with Damian and discuss things like "What's your favourite position,"' Giannina told People. 'No one needs to know that. That’s where I draw the line.'
Another great storyline from the show is the mystery behind the stain on Gigi’s dress, which magically disappeared when she went back to confront Damian after he jilted her at the altar.
Producer Chris Coelen, who was speaking to the Metro, explained Gigi's mother Milady spent ages scrubbing at the stain, but the scenes didn't make the final cut.
He admitted the moment the pair reunited was actually shot 'hours later', and she had spent at least 45 minutes crying in the car park before going inside to fix the dress. 'Her mum, as you can tell, is this caretaker type person,’ he added. 'She and her mum were upstairs in the bridal suite She’s cleaning her dress like, “You can’t have this!”' Obviously, with only an hour and a half to show all the weddings - a lot of amazing footage was cut, and Coelen added, ‘We could have done a three-hour special just on the Gigi and Damian wedding, truly.'
This isn’t the most shocking Love Is Blind news though, as it’s recently been revealed that Kelly and Jessica had known each other for ten years - even though it was never mentioned on the show. It seems wild that the friendship was never addressed, considering that they were living in the same house, but perhaps it isn’t all too surprising when you consider that all 30 contestants featured on the show were living in Atlanta at the time of filming.
