It’s well and truly baby season.
Ever since Beyoncé’s epic pregnancy announcement, celebrities far and wide have been debuting their blossoming bumps.
And two is officially a trend thanks to the singer, as Amal and George Clooney were first among the A-list to announce that they too are expecting twins.
But it seems Amal and Beyoncé’s desperate attempt to remain tight-lipped throughout the early stages of their pregnancy were in vain, as their parents may have slipped up.
A few weeks ago, Beyoncé’s dad proved he’s just like our own clumsy elders when he seemed to reveal the gender of her and Jay Z’s future offspring. You never know, perhaps she was planning an entire photoshoot to unveil the gender of her twins?
And now George Clooney’s mum has reportedly let slip the gender of his twins too.
Nina Clooney told Radar Online: "Yes, a boy and a girl. That's what I've been told. How marvellous! My husband and I are extremely excited.”
But there was no such luck in trying to find out any potential baby names as the 77-year-old told the publication: "That's George and Amal's department".
Though his mother did admit that her son needs to catch up with his sister, Adelia, who already has a 20-year-old and a 25-year-old.
