SPOILERS SORRY EVERYONE

Game Of Thrones Season 8

A day doesn’t go by that we go online and Game Of Thrones news isn’t instantly thrown in our face. We’re guilty too, sorry ‘bout it – it's never ending. After SPOILER ALERT Monday nights intense episode (I spent a lot of it hiding behind my hands) ended with Iwan Rheon’s character Ramsey being ripped apart by his own dogs, it’s safe to say no one is safe from being killed off. It even looked like Jon was going to be killed, again during the battle scene – If I have to endure his death again I might just give up all together.

This was, however, until Deadline released a report stating which characters had received a hefty pay rise. Apparently Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Kit Harrington (Jon Snow), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) and Nikolaj Coster-Walday (Jamie Lannister) will all earn over $5000, 000 an episode for season 7, and possibly 8. Yes. You heard correctly, $5000, 000.

It doesn’t mean these characters won’t be killed off, after all this is Game Of Thrones and all hope of a happy ending disappeared from our sights after the Red Wedding episode, but if they’re being paid that much it is an indicator that they will be returning for the final two seasons.

I’m slightly concerned that Maisie William, aka Ayra Stark, wasn’t mentioned in the report. I’m hoping this doesn’t mean she faces a terrible death without ticking everyone off her list. Hopefully she’s too busy hiding in the shadows before she makes her return to Winterfell to be named. Afterall a girl had no name for a while now.
