Lady Gagaand Bradley Cooper are still mates after their hit film A Star Is Born, but they won’t get together - according to reports. An insider has told The Sun Online that Bradley wouldn’t want to disrespect ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk following their split last week, and that they simply remain friends,
An insider told the website, ‘There’s no way Gaga and Bradley will get together. Not now – they’re really good friends and still speak all the time, but it’s not his style to jump into another relationship straight away. Especially after all the rumours about them during A Star Is Born. He wouldn’t do that.’
It comes after fans at a Vegas concert heckled Gaga before she sang A Star Is Born hit Shallow over the weekend. Speculation around the pair’s off-screen relationship started to swirl after Bradley and Gaga sang the song at the Oscars. But, even though sources previously told Us Weekly that Irina was ‘unbothered’ by the performance, according to The Sun, Gaga told the audience, ‘And one more thing, be kind. Be kind or fuck off.’
Irina and Bradley split last week after four years together. The supermodel and the Oscar winner started dating in 2015, and welcomed their daughter Lea De Seine in March 2017. Following reports that their relationship is on the rocks, People confirmed the news that they had broken up and are trying to work out custody of their daughter.
A source also told Us Weekly that the popstar has played no part in the pair's relationship issues. Gaga addressed the rumours herself after their loved-up Oscars performance, telling Jimmy Kimmel, ‘Yes, people saw love and guess what? That’s what we wanted you to see… When you’re singing love songs, that’s what you want people to feel.’ Us Weekly also reported how Irina was unbothered by the performance, as she knew they were both acting. ‘Irina knows that Bradley and Gaga are artists,’ a source told the news outlet at the time. ‘It’s a nonissue for her. They were in character putting on an Oscar performance.'
