If, like us, you spend far too much time stalking your imaginary celebrity friends via Instagram, you may have noticed that a number of the model set have decamped to the Bahamas.
The likes of Emily Ratajkowski, Bella Hadid, Alessandra Ambrosio, Hailey Baldwin and Elsa Hosk are currently living it up on a paradise island enjoying some beach time, taking a billion bikini selfies, and even partaking in a spot of watersports.
If you thought the model clan were on some post-VS show blow out, or an extended swimwear shoot, you are mistaken, it appears the genetically blessed group are in the Caribbean to promote a festival.
Every single member of this model squad have recently posted an orange square to their feed declaring their excitement about the upcoming Fyre Festival.
So what do we know about this mystery event? Well according to Fyre Festival it is ‘the cultural experience of the decade’. A bold claim indeed.
Situated just one hour from Miami (in a private plane, naturally), the festival takes place on a tiny private island in the Exumas area of the Bahamas. As to be expected, it's picture-perfect beautiful - think bright white sand, turquiose water and miles of palm trees.
Once home to Blackbeard and a playground for Pablo Escoba (!), Fyre invites you to ‘let loose and unplug with the likeminded’. With ticket prices starting from $950 it seem like you need to be willing to splash the cash as well...
Once you’ve made the quick hop to this tropical paradise you will be able to spend the weekend enjoying the ‘greatest minds in music, art and cuisine’ (and hopefully meet Bella, Emily et al).
If that hasn’t got you excited, then the immersive treasure hunt surely will, with over $1 million in treasure hidden around the island you could go home one very happy camper.
Taking place for two weekends in 2017 (28th - 30th April and 5th-7th May), we reckon this festival could give Coachella a run for its money. And we can’t wait to live vicariously through the celebs as they document it all via Instagram.
