While Topanga and Cory have been on the small screen in the first season of Girl Meets World (it’s nowhere near as good as the original 90s classic), things look like they’re going to get a lot better in season two. Shawn (Cory’s best mate), Eric (remember Cory’s fit but slightly stupid brother?) and Mr Feeny (MR FEE-HEE-HEENAY) are all set to return for a couple of episodes.
Ben Savage (Cory) recently posted a pic on Twitter featuring the whole gang which, alongside the tweet from the set last month, is pretty much confirmation that we’ve got a full-blown reunion on our hands. On another note, who knew that Shawn is played by Rider Strong? What a name.
‘Excited to welcome back some old friends for Season 2 #GirlMeetsWorld,’ Ben tweeted a month ago, from what looks like Mr Feeny’s house.
And even some of the show’s writers have promised the entire gang will be an ‘important’ part of season two. ‘Lives will change. People will grow. People won’t,’ the writers shared.
