If you feel like you and your kids have watched Frozen 2 on loop, then we have some good news: there’s a new icy series coming. Six episodes about the biggest animation film of all time - which made over an eye-watering £1billion - is hitting Disney+ very soon.
But, before you gather the family around, here’s what you need to know about the streaming service’s latest documentary (which is no doubt going to be very, very popular).
What is Into the Unknown: Making Frozen 2 going to be about?
The series promises to deliver ‘an eye-opening view of the challenges and the breakthroughs, the artistry, creativity and the complexity of creating the number one animated feature of all time'.
It will feature a behind-the-scenes glimpse at stars Kristen Bell (Anna), Idina Menzel (Elsa), Josh Gad (Olaf), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff), Sterling K. Brown (Lieutenant Mattias), Evan Rachel Wood (Iduna) as they record their character's voices. You will also find out about the making of the film from director/writer/chief creative officer Jennifer Lee, director Chris Buck and producer Peter Del Vecho, songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, as well as the technicians of Disney Animation.
When is Into the Unknown: Making Frozen 2 going to be released?
Soon, luckily. The six-episodes will land on the platform on June 26.
