Jennifer Aniston keeps on teasing us with details about a possible reboot of Friends. After previously saying that she would be up for a reunion episode, the actress has shed more light on what we could expect if it did return.
When asked in an interview with Todaywhether Rachel would be with Ross, she replied, ‘Yes, absolutely.’
The star also said that the episode would be about their family life - especially Ross and Rachel’s daughter Emma, who would be 17. ‘Emma’s grown up. She’s in college? Not yet. High school? Yeah. She’s in high school. Let’s say junior high,’ she added. Emma was introduced in the season 7 finale, after the on-and-off-again couple had a one night stand.
Aniston previously told Ellen DeGeneres that a reboot could be a possibility, saying ‘anything could happen’. ‘Why not? You know what, because, listen, I told you this. I would do it,’ she said. ‘The girls would do it. And the boys would do it, I’m sure.’
Courteney Cox - Monica - has also said she would welcome a new episode. ‘I fantasize about it. It really was the greatest job I ever had,’ she told PEOPLE. ‘I don’t know what it would look like today, but you never know. So many shows are being successfully rebooted.'
But Lisa Kudrow - Phoebe - sounds less keen, telling Today in 2017, 'It would be fun, but what would it be about? Think about it. The thing we liked best about the show was that they were 20-somethings and they were their own family. Now, they all have families, so what are we going to watch?'
