Jamie Oliver{ =nofollow}might now be showing us how to cook on our TV screens - last night, on his new show Keep Cooking and Carry On he taught viewers how to make pasta with just flour - but there is another unexpected face giving us cooking inspiration in these trying times: Hollywood actress Florence Pugh.

Since last week, the star has been sharing videos of her cooking healthy, and delicious looking meals, on her Instagram. A few days ago, she made a gorgeous looking vegetable dish, with Italian sausage.

However, today, she made a butternut squash, while chatting over a glass of wine. Make sure you have enough time to watch them, though - as these are no quick five minute, easy-to-follow videos. (She is archiving them in her Instagram story highlights on her profile.)

‘How’s everyone doing by the way,’ she said to the camera. ‘Is everyone feeling a little bit more normal? We’ve been able to get used to it for a week. I feel I’ve found it really helpful to keep my normal structure of Monday to Friday. I got a bit panicky when my weekdays were blurring into weekends.’

And one of the things the actress is passionate about is not wasting any food. ‘Lots of my recipes are all to do with - well, they’re not my recipes, I’ve copied them off someone, pretended they’re mine,’ she says. ‘I’m always trying to use as much of the stuff I have in my fridge as possible. Or I’m trying to reuse an old vegetable. Or make sure that it gets the longest life possible. I think it’s really important to use all the things that were originally going to be wasted.’

Yesterday, Florence and her boyfriend Zach Braff were spotted wearing gloves as they went to pick up groceries in LA.
