FKA Twigs won her first Mobo award last night for the self-directed video for Pendulum. In her speech, she mentioned how a dance routine of hers had been cut from a Lethal Bizzle video back in the day, and that the last time she was at the Mobos she was simply a backing dancer for Wretch 32.
But that wasn’t all – she performed her songs Figure 8 and In Time and, well, as the presenter put it, ‘entranced’ the crowd. In fact, she entranced them so much that some viewers are pretty convinced she’s a witch:
Honestly, though. No wonder they’ve called her a witch, because it’s hardly as if any other mainstream music act is pulling choreography like this, is it?
