FKA Twigs On Why She’s Not Interested In Being Part Of Taylor Swift’s Squad

FKA Twigs has broken the mould in her rise to pop icon status, and in a new interview with *Paper Magazine*she's revealed her future plans revolve around a good old fashioned country life. She also revealed she has no plans to become part of Taylor Swift's famous clique any time soon.

Behind her on-stage persona, FKA says she's a homebody at heart, admitting "I'm quite traditional."

"You know that saying: 'You can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl?' I grew up in Gloucestershire, and there's a certain format that people fit into. And I'm actually quite happy with that format.

She explained she'd be happy with a traditional path of "work hard at school, get married, have kids, and send them to a nice school."

When talk turned to how Taylor Swift relates to her fans and her universale appeal, FKA admitted she's not bothered about befriending the mega star.

"I think Taylor Swift is great, but I wouldn't necessarily think, 'Oh my god, I have to be friends with her,'" she said. "When I meet fans, they're quite creative and intelligent, kind, sensitive. Some are old ladies, witch doctors from Louisiana, kids that have just left art school. Gay or lesbian couples, straight middle-aged couples..."

So there you have it: FKA is one of the few stars Taylor won't be welcoming to the stage any time soon.
