Congratulations are in order for Felicity Jones: the Rogue One and The Theory Of Everything star is reportedly engaged to her film director boyfriend Charles Guard.
Sources close to the couple told US Weekly that Charles recently proposed to the Oscar-nominated actress, 33, after two years of dating. The pair, who have previously chosen to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, are yet to comment upon the news.
Felicity rarely discusses her private life in interviews, and prefers to attend high profile engagements such as premieres and awards without her plus one, most recently choosing to walk the red carpet solo at the Met Gala earlier this month. In a previous interview with The Telegraph, however, the actress described herself as ‘a romantic,’ admitting: ‘I am definitely romantic and I love romantic stories – that’s why I keep making romantic movies. It’s funny how seeing a love story never gets boring because it’s the dream, isn’t it? It’s the dream to have a true connection with another human being.’
Before she started dating Guard in 2015, Felicity was in a long-term relationship with artist Ed Fornieles, who she met while studying at Oxford University. The pair parted ways in 2013, after 10 years together.
