If there’s only one thing you watch today - let it be Star Wars The Force Awakens: The Phantom Screen Tests.
Even if you were in the I-don’t-get-all-the-Star-Wars-fuss camp last December - this video featuring fake auditions may just sway you.
We are eternally grateful…
‘I think this is a sombre scene,’ Daisy Ridley opens with, turning to a very excited Janelle Monáe.
And it gets better and better - with LOL cameos from Matthew McConaughey, Jon Hamm and, um, Joseph Gordon-Levitt...sort of.
But the guy who really steals the spotlight of course is John Boyega- reminding us that our monster crush on the 24-year old Londoner is well and truly alive - shutting down haters in the Best. Way. Ever.
‘Hey, I’m a black Stormtrooper,’ Boyega says facing the camera. ‘Can we try it more like an urbanised Stormtopper?’
The seriously funny ‘screen test’ also pokes fun at Hollywood sexism, with Emma Stone cast as feminist hero, Rey, in one Oscar-worthy scene.
‘If the first Republican takes over the galaxy then everyone you love is doomed,’ she exclaims earnestly.
‘And now we have the sex?’ Emma's bored looking male lead asks the 'director'.
Also massive shout out to Trainwreck actress and SNLcast member Vanessa Bayer for her spot on J-Law impression.
Now ‘scuse us while we just re-watch this for the 20th time this morning…
