Good afternoon to Chris Hemsworth and Chris Hemsworth only! The trailer for this summer's most anticipated blockbuster, Thor: Love And Thunder, has been released. While we are all for another classic superhero 'good versus evil' battle and excited for Natalie Portman's return to the Marvel universe, everyone is talking about the teaser of certain nude scene. In the trailer of the upcoming MCU film, Chris Hemsworth- who plays the lead character Thor - has all his clothing blown off and is left standing naked. The butt reveal actually marks the first time a Marvel rating cites 'partial nudity'.
Speaking to press at the film’s premiere this week, Chris Hemsworth hilariously stated that said that his decision to bare just about everything was just a long time coming and a 'dream of his'. 'I mean, it was kind of 10, 11 years in the making, that shot,' Hemsworth told ET. 'In each film we’ve taken off another item of clothing. The first time I played Thor I took my shirt off and I thought, you know what's gonna sweeten this... a decade from now it's all gonna come off.' Hemsworth then made sure to credit Director Taika Waititi with the idea, adding that 'it was all his doing'.
'I feel like we had all talked about it,' Taika added. 'We had talked about, "Yeah, we gotta show off this body."' He continued, 'My whole thing was like, Chris works so hard, you've gotta show it off. Don't cover it up with all these suits and the cape and stuff, it's not fair!' Taika further discussed the scene during a recent appearance on 'The Late Show Starring Stephen Colbert,' promising fans that they 'get the full Hems’ Worth'.
Chris has also talked about how co-star Russell Crowe comforted him while filming the scene, joking, 'He does a great thing where he’s also naked from the waist down. That made me feel at ease.'
Thor: Love and Thunder's director of photography, Barry Baz Idoine, has meanwhile given some hilarious insight into filming Hemsworth's naked scene. 'It's incredibly hard to shoot Chris Hemsworth's butt,' he told Deadline. 'I mean, nobody concentrates, nobody does their job, everybody's looking at the butt, they're not looking at what they're supposed to be doing. That was a challenge.'

Taika has described Thor: Love and Thunder as a romantic comedy with drama, tragedy, humour, and sincerity. Its synopsis reads: 'The film finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he's ever faced – a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods.
