Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater shared a sweet moment at the Screen Actors Guild Awards as they made their way through the crowded venue.
The couple have been dating since 2023 after meeting on the set of Wicked and attended the awards ceremony together. According to a lip reader, Ethan whispered 'stay near, this crowd next to me, they are pushing' to his girlfriend as he helped her find her seat. The actor then took Ariana's hand and led her through the audience.
The Wicked star was nominated for Outstanding Female Actor in a Supporting Role for her performance in part one of the musical and presented an award too. She was wearing a pale pink Loewe gown covered in flowers, thought to be an homage to her role as Glinda in the film.
While Ariana did not win on the night, it looks like she had the unwavering support of Ethan throughout the evening. He has also accompanied her to several other awards shows this year, including the Critics Choice Awards earlier this month. She is also nominated for an Oscar for her performance and it is likely Ethan will be her plus one at the esteemed 3 March event too.
The couple have reportedly gone from strength to strength in recent months and are though to have moved in together in New York. When news of their relationship first broke, however, they faced some backlash as reports claimed the actress was friends with Ethan's ex-wife Lilly Jay and had spent time with their child.
Ethan and Lilly were together for 10 years, having first started dating in high school, before divorcing in 2023.
A source close to Ethan and Ariana told Us Weekly that, despite getting together shortly after Ethan and Lilly's divorce, they started out as friends and 'they're really happy and really good for each other'.
