Celebrity Ex On The Beach has just started. And, on this year’s series, there’s quite a few Love Islanders on the show ready to amp up the drama. Even though the show only started yesterday, the drama has already well and truly begun - and it’s thanks to former Love Island contestants Michael Griffiths and Ellie Brown.
OK, so, it’s believed Michael and Ellie met on the show and started dating. With cute pics of them on the internet, they looked pretty smitten and looked like the perfect reality couple. In fact, Michael recently told The Sun Online that he thought he’d found the one (although he denies doing an interview with the publication). He said, ‘Ellie and I did form a good bond on the show. The relationship we built was unbelievable. To have someone as amazing as her in my life means so much. I'm head over heels and I'm not letting her go.’
‘Initially I just opened up to her because we were both from up north, she was a friendly face and I guess we have a lot in common both being on Love Island,’ he added. ‘She instantly felt like home. But then it grew into a lot more. She helped me open up and believe in myself a lot more.’ Cute!
Anyway, things seem to have changed. Ellie took to her Instagram stories to proclaim that she’s single earlier today. ‘I want to clear up that I do not have a boyfriend,’ she said. ‘I did not find the one, and that picture is from five months ago - we all have pictures together.’ And Michael just took to his stories too, to let everyone know he’s also single.
So, what happened!? We have no idea. The drama! It’s almost as much as when Michael dumped Amber on last year's series. We can’t cope.
