Elizabeth Hurley Just Shared The Cutest Throwback Snap With Hugh Grant

The actress/model took to Instagram late last night to wish her former boyfriend Hugh Grant a happy 57th birthday in a really adorable way. Posting a throwback snap of the pair in Montreux in 1994, Liz captioned the picture: 'Happy Birthday to my best friend for 30 years', before adding no less than five kiss emojis. Cute!

Elizabeth and Hugh dated for 13 years after meeting in 1987 on set of a Spanish theatre production called Remando Al Viento. They split in May 2000 but have remained firm friends ever since. Indeed, Hugh is the godfather to Liz's only child Damien, whom she had with US businessman, Steve Bing, in 2002. Liz, too, is a godmother to one of Hugh Grant's daughters whom he had with his former girlfriend, Tinglan Hong.

Over the years, Liz has spoken often about her friendship with the Notting Hill star. In an interview with US Weekly last year for instance, she said the pair still speak every day.

'We met on a movie 29 years ago and he’s still my best friend today and I still speak to him every day,' she said. 'That was the best co-star I’ve ever had, for sure.'
