Elizabeth Hurley shocked showbiz fans the world over when she seemingly confirmed her relationship with Billy Ray Cyrus in an Instagram post upload during Easter celebrations.
The 59-year-old was seen smiling as Cyrus, 63, plants a kiss on her cheek in the snap, which she simply captioned, ‘Happy Easter’ alongside a red heart emoji.
But who else has the Austin Powers star been in a relationship with throughout her career?
Hugh Grant (1987-2000)
Hurley started dating Hugh Grant in 1997 after meeting on the set of Rowing with the Wind, in which Grant played Lord Byron and Hurley played Claire Clairmont. It was in 1994 at the premiere of Grant’s movie Four Weddings and a Funeral where Hurley was photographed wearing a black Versace dress held together by gold safety pins, catapulting her to fame.
In 1995, Grant was arrested after being caught with a sex worker, but Hurley stood by him. They later announced their ‘amicable’ split in 2000 and have remained close friends.
Steve Bing (2000-2001)
Hurley dated businessman and film producer Steve Bing for 18 months. Following their split, Hurley gave birth to her son Damian in April 2002. Bing initially denied being the father of Hurley’s son, saying their relationship was ‘brief’ and ‘non-exclusive’. A paternity test proved that he was the father.
Bing died by suicide in June 2020 with it being reported that he never met his and Hurley’s son. Hurley said after his death, ‘I am saddened beyond belief that my ex Steve is no longer with us. It is a terrible end,’ adding she would remember a ‘sweet, kind man.’
Steve Nash (2001)
After splitting from Bing, Hurley briefly dated former NBA player Steve Nash in 2001. A rep for Nash said at the time, ‘They just vibed. The relationship is authentic.’
Arun Nayar (2002-2010)
Hurley started dating Indian businessman Arun Nayar in late 2002, with them marrying in two ceremonies in 2007. Hurley has said she considers Nayar to be her son’s dad as they started dating the year he was born and married when he was five.
Damian has shared photos of Hurley and Nayar over the years which he has captioned ‘Mama & Daddy’, proving he believes the sentiment.
Hurley and Nayar announced their split in 2010 and their divorce was finalised in 2011. However, the pair have remained good friends and reunited at a Diwali dinner in London in October 2024, posing alongside Damian.
Shane Warne (2010-2013)
Hurley was embroiled in a cheating scandal in 2010 when it emerged she had entered into a relationship with cricket player Shane Warne before she had publicly announced her split from Nayar. Once she clarified that her marriage to Nayar had ended before she struck a romance with Warne, the couple became engaged three months after her divorce had been finalised.
Hurley and Warne called off their engagement and went their separate ways in December 2013, blaming their busy schedules.
Warne sadly passed away from a heart attack at the age of 52 in March 2022. At the time of his death, Hurley wrote on social media, ‘I feel like the sun has gone behind a cloud forever. RIP my beloved Lionheart.’
Billy Ray Cyrus (2025)
Other than a rumoured relationship with Justin Theroux – which she denied – in 2019, Hurley had not publicly been known to date anybody following her engagement to Warne until she posted the snap with Cyrus.
Not many details about Hurley and Cyrus’ – who starred in 2022's Christmas in Paradise together – relationship is known as of yet, but source tells The Sun that their relationship blossomed just months after the _Achy Breaky Hear_t singer’s divorce from his third wife, Firerose.
The source said, ‘There has always been a spark, but he reached out again last year when his short-lived third marriage ended. He has had a really hard time, but she has been there helping him turn things around.
'Liz has been really great for him, but her friends are cautious because of what’s been said in the past about him. She insists he has turned a corner and is a changed man.'
