Ed Sheeran’s Tattoo Is Actually Real. So Is Chris Brown’s

Ed Sheeran’s been fooling his fans by tricking them into thinking the massive lion tattooed on his chest was a fake.

The ginger crooner uploaded a photo of his chest piece a couple of weeks ago:

It was around the time Cecil the Lion was discovered to have been poached, but according to *Time *magazine, Ed got it to honour England’s football team (the tattoo makes a stronger impression than the men’s team did at their last tournament, but anyway, we digress).

And just yesterday, Ed uploaded an image of himself all bare-chested, showing the tattoo wasn’t there:

We stared closely at his beard – bigger in this photo than in the previous one – and tried to work out which one was taken before the other. But then Ed – the joker – revealed that, of course, his tattoo is real, he’d just had make-up put on it for a TV show.

We do sort of wonder what TV show would call for Ed’s chest to be out and for his tattoo to not be seen. We also wonder – maybe too much – if Ed’s tattoo gets ginger hairs sprouting out of it to add to the effect of the orange-hued lion’s mane.

In other slightly related tattoo news, Chris Brown got a head tattoo of the Venus De Milo – an ancient armless statue of a woman found on a Grecian island, widely believed to be a prostitute who spun fabric on the side – the other day.

It’s absolutely real, and he’s since added a bull to it. Right next to it. You can check it out in this photo – that is, if you can tear your eyes away from Chris’ strangely perfect manicure…
