Today Kensington Palace has confirmed that the Duke of Cambridge will visit Japan and China in February and March 2015, while the Duchess of Cambridge will stay at home. The Duchess is expected to welcome her second child in April 2015. The Duke will spend three days in each country, visiting Tokyo and Beijing and elsewhere.
Kensington Palace said in a statement: "The Duke will also undertake engagements in Beijing and elsewhere to promote UK-China relations, people to people links, and in support of his work to combat the illegal wildlife trade and support wildlife conservation."

We do love a royal tour here at Grazia Daily. On top of The Duke and Duchess' scheduled trip to New York in December, it has been reported that they might go on a royal tour to China next year.
The Telegraph reports that the royal couple have been asked to go on an official tour of China early next year to strengthen relations between Britain and China. Although their sources say it is 'too early" to confirm whether the trip would go ahead.
According to the Telegraph, they are discussing dates in the first three months of 2015. The Duchess is pregnant with her second child, due in March 2015, and it is advised not to fly past 36 weeks.
If the trip goes ahead, they would be expected to visit Shanghai and Bejing. it would be the most high-profile trip to China since the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh visited in 1986 and Prince Charles visited in 1997.

In September Kate had to pull out of a trip to Malta due to severe morning sickness. The couple are visiting New York in December (without Prince George) and their schedule will include the September 11 memorial and a basketball game. The Duchess will also attend a local child development centre while William jets off to Washington D.C for an anti-corruption conference on the smuggling of wildlife parts and the illegal ivory trade.
