Move over, Taylor Swift, there’s a new girl squad in town, and this one doesn’t make us want to curl up and eat chocolate forever and cry about the fact that we don’t have abs.
Drew Barrymore has been the queen of our hearts for, like, ever, but she’s made us love her even more with a post on Instagram this weekend. Turns out, she does very normal person things like going on hikes and wearing wooly hats and no makeup. Okay so she is hiking with mega stars like Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz and Nicole Richie, but still.
Yes, Taylor Swift has the professional photographer (and let’s be honest, probably an airbrush person), matching outfits and an inflatable waterslide, but we kind of definitely would rather shove on a wooly hat and climb a mountain with DB’s gang than frolic around in a bikini with TS and co. It looks way more fun, and way less high maintainence.

Drew posted an homage to her loved ones alongside the photo, telling everyone to ‘hold onto those you love and climb a mountain together’. In this case she means literally, but probably metaphorically too. We picture this caption being written at the top of a mountain when Drew felt so full of ‘zest’ that she didn’t care about correct punctuation.
