Liam Payne has revealed that the whole of One Direction was kicked out of Donald Trump’s hotel once - for not meeting his daughter.
Apparently, the band were asleep (it was like 4am, give them a break!) when Trump rang their manager and requested they come down to meet her.
Obviously, it being the middle of the night, their manager refused, and Trump, in his standard grown up manner, decided to kick them out.
Payne, in an interview with Rollacoaster, said: “So he was like, "Ok, then I don’t want you in my hotel." So we had to leave.'
The band were quite literally thrown out the front door, which, as Payne said, was a problem because 'in New York we can’t really go outside. New York is ruthless for us.'
This all happened before Trump became president (and… learned professionalism? Oh…wait) which is probably why he didn’t straight away denounce One Direction for their ‘failing career’ like he’s done for so many other celebs.
We don't know which daughter it was - Ivanka or Tiffany (but our bets are on Tiffany being the Directioner) - and we're guessing, as a result, the boys didn't make any effort to meet her in the future...
