It’s not exactly groundbreaking news to discover that newly elected President of the United States, Donald Trump, is particular with aesthetics. Let’s not forget that Trump required lavish gold interiors and Greek ceiling murals for his $100 million penthouse located atop Trump Towers.

And it has been revealed that he is also rather particular with the appearance of his staff members. According to Axios, Trump requires his female employees ‘dress like women… even if you're in jeans, you need to look neat and orderly’. We’re not entirely sure what dressing like a woman actually entails but a source revealed that: ‘women felt pressured to wear dresses to impress Trump’.

But Trump’s requests don’t end there, as he also reportedly requires his male staff members to follow strict dress codes in his presence too.

A source revealed: "You need to have a certain look. That look - at least for any male - you have to be sharply dressed. Preferably, I would say, solid colors. You should have a good physical demeanor, good stature, hair well groomed."

One dress code the male employees must adhere to in particular is Trump’s preference for wider ties.

This is despite the fact that Trump reportedly uses scotch tape to secure his own tie in place throughout the day…

And now women have taken to Twitter in retaliation against Trump by using the trending hashtag, 'DressLikeAWoman':
