We all love the ridiculously posh red wine-swilling Dom and Steph from Gogglebox. And after seeing pictures of the Salutation – the £3.5m B&B they live in and run – up for sale, we totally wanted to spend a night in the cozily-furnished mansion before they’re no longer. And before you think they wouldn’t let us run amok there, they seem to be down for whatever, as news broke this morning that the mansion recently played host to an orgy of 60 guests. An actual orgy.
Dom and Steph weren’t present at the time, and in their absence, no red wine was actually drunk, because though there was a bit of an anything-goes atmosphere when it came to sex, the owners didn’t want red wine stains on the cream carpets.
Killing Kittens, the high-end swingers’ club where women’s pleasure is put centre-stage (men cannot approach women, men can only come if they’re accompanied by a woman) hired part of the Salutation estate for £1,700 and organiser Emma Sayle invited a reporter from The Sun to write about it.
Though the paper put the story on its front page, calling it ’60 guests in orgy at Gogglebox mansion’, which led us to think the posh pair were involved when actually they weren’t, the reporter left after an hour. Apparently it ‘had got a bit too hot and steamy and I left’, but as we can see, The Sun have a photo of some revellers, which goes against Killing Kittens’ no-phone policy. Hmmm!
The May Ball was a masked ball and focused on older members, the ‘Silver Kittens’ as they’re nicknamed (not ‘cats’, that would be off-brand), with Emma explaining: ‘Age is just a number and people don’t stop having sex when they turn 45 – so far the events have been a great success.’
Oh, and did we mention the story gets better – Emma went to school with Kate Middleton and is said to be a pal of hers.
Dom and Steph’s people say that the Parkers (that’s their surname, by the way) didn’t know about the orgy and weren’t there at the time: ‘The Salutaion is frequently hired out for corporate bookings and with this sort of hire arrangement Dominic and Stephanie would not be given specifics of the event,’ they said sternly, before adding. ‘We can confirm they were not at The Salutation over the dates mentioned.’
It’s a shame that Killing Kittens doesn’t let camera crews in, we’d love to see Dom and Steph on Gogglebox watching a fly-on-the-wall show about the orgy on the BAFTA-winning fly-on-the-wall show their B&B already appears on. Wow. Remind us to never go to an orgy. It seems we can barely keep on top of our own thoughts let alone a tangle of strangers’ bodies.
