OK, so Sara Gilbert has done a lot on US TV since her role as a teenager in an ’80s sitcom, and Linda Perry is an enormously successful songwriter, but they will forever be Darlene from Roseanne and the singer from one-hit wonder 4 Non Blondes to us. You know, that group that had the song What’s Up in grunge’s early ’90s heyday when everyone wore leggings under combat shorts and hipsters did the dreadlocks look?
The pair got married on Sunday at sunset, overlooking the ocean according to Gilbert’s co-host Aisha Tyler who said: 'It was an amazing, amazing night. I mean we can't tell much about it because we want Sara to talk about it.’
Gilbert announced the pair’s engagement news in April 2013 on chat show The Talk, on which she is a host: ‘I happened to be talking about gay marriage and I thank you all for your support on that issue. That was before I had any idea about any of this. I'm super shy and don't usually want to tell anything. But I wanted you guys to know because I feel like you're a part of our family here.’
Her Talk co-host Julie Chen said they will share pictures of the wedding on the show when Sara returns from her honeymoon next week.
