Congratulations are in order for Love Island 2018 winner Dani Dyer who has welcomed her first child with boyfriend Sammy Kimmence. Dani shared the good news with a post on Instagram last week which read, 'After a very long day and night finally our special little boy arrived 23/01/2021💙 Weighing 7 pound. We are in a complete baby bubble and enjoying every moment, can not believe he is ours, completely in love and so grateful to be his mummy.. Sending all my love to all the other mommas to be out there in lockdown.. the best experience ever will never forget this day✨'

And now, speaking on her podcast Sorted With The Dyers with her dad Danny, the new mum has revealed the name of her son: Santiago. 'I know a lot of you are probably thinking “What?!” but that is his name and I think it sounds nice on the birth certificate,' she said.

It's been a long time coming for Dani (and the rest of us!) after she took to her Instagram stories back in August to review a fetal doppler – a handheld ultrasound device which is supposed to detect your unborn baby’s heartbeat – and said it only caused her more worry when she couldn’t hear anything at 15 weeks.

'Nothing against it, some people are really lucky and find a heartbeat in six weeks. I tried this at home - it made me ill. If you're a little bit of a worrier, like me, I just really don't recommend them because if you can't find the heartbeat, you're stressing about it. I know I was.'

And during the summer she opened up about experiencing pregnancy for the first time and the changes she was seeing in her body.

'Apparently at this stage I’m supposed to feel "on top of the world" which I really hope for as the first few months have been really hard,' she said. 'I’ve had loads of messages from people so thought I’d share my experience so far. And honestly your responses and little tips have been amazing I really feel like it is like a little community on here and I love it lol.

'There’s always a lot of pressure on how you should feel but we are all different. I actually want to shout out to the women that write on netmums because they have got me through the worrying.'
