Jacqueline Jossa’s marriage to Dan Osborne has made headlines this week after the former EastEnders star threatened to quit I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! over cheating rumours.
But who is Dan Osborne? The 28-year-old is best known for appearing on The Only Way is Essex then Celebrity Big Brother 2018, in which he came third.
He married Jossa in 2017 and they have two daughters; Mia, 17 months, and Ella, four. Dan also has a son Teddy, born in 2013, with ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin.
Jossa and Osborne’s relationship almost ended in 2014 after recordings were leaked of Osborne threatening Tomlin, who he left when she was four months pregnant with Teddy. is heard saying: 'it won't be funny when you're in hospital', calling her a 'dirty little c*nt' and a 'slag', and threatening to 'stick a knife in her' if he found out she’d slept with another man. When Tomlin denied the allegations, Osborne is heard retorting 'shut your fucking mouth.
A police investigation into Osborne’s threats was launched but later dropped. The recording is apparently from around the same time when Osborne was arrested on suspicion of assault following an argument with Tomlin at her home in Essex. He was released without charge.
In an Instagram rant on Christmas Eve 2014, which was deleted, Tomlin wrote that ‘rebound relationships never last’ and that ‘a good person doesn't get involved with a guy who came out of a relationship after a matter of weeks and has a baby on the way.’
In a statement, Osborne said: 'It has taken me a while to find the right words but I would like to say that I am truly sorry to anyone who was offended by what they heard.'
Fast forward to now, and it’s reported that unaired I’m a Celebrity scenes saw fellow campmate Myles Stephenson – of RakSu fame – confirm to Jacqueline that Osborne had an affair back in April 2018 with former Love Island star Gabby Allen. It was denied by both parties at the time, but Stephenson, who dated Allen for 11 months until August this year, reportedly told Jossa that the pair did have an affair while in Marbella together at a fitness retreat. Jossa was pregnant with Mia at the time, with Osborne moving out of their home following the rumours.
After Jossa reportedly threatened to leave the show if she couldn’t speak to her husband, a source for the publication says that the couple were allowed to leave each other a voicemail.
