Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin are officially dating, per a report by Us Weekly.
'Dakota and Chris are definitely dating,' a source told the magazine. 'They've gotten to know each other really well and are very comfortable [with] one another. Chris sends Dakota his music to get her opinion. It's more than just a fling.'
The Coldplay frontman and the Fifty Shades of Grey actress were first spotted together in Argentina earlier this month where she was watching him perform at a gig, while the latest fan sighting places them at the Yam7 restaurant in Israel.
Johnson has proved popular with Hollywood's eligible bachelors this year, having previously been linked to Mad Men's Jon Hamm and Elon Musk, Amber Heard's recent ex.
The news also comes after Martin’s ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, officially finished ‘consciously uncoupling’ from him as she accepted the proposal of her boyfriend of three years Brad Falchuk. The two met when Paltrow was a guest star on his hit series Glee, and have largely kept their relationship private.
In the years since the former couple split up, Martin has been linked to a bevy of celebrity beauties, including British actress Annabelle Wallis, Oscar-winning mega-star Jennifer Lawrence and even rumoured old flame Alexa Chung.
The coupling isn't that surprising: Johnson might have a thing for British musicians, having previously dated Welsh indie frontman Matt Hitt, who performs with the band The Drowners. In a nice twist of fate, Hitt has also been linked to Alexa Chung, proving once and for all that Hollywood is just as incestuous as normal friendship groups.
