The most recent lockdown has been the most difficult, just because of how dark it was. The first one was at this time last year – it was really sunny and I was living with Mum [Pearl Lowe{ =nofollow}] in Somerset. Since then, I’ve renovated my house and I finally got to move in just before we went into Tier Four. My boyfriend [property developer Jordan Saul] helped, so it felt only right that he moved in with me.

There were a few turning points for me this lockdown. I was like, ‘OK, what makes me feel really good? I have to remember.’ Because it’s so important to still socialise, I have to try and see two friends a week for a walk, for my mental health. The other thing that helped was cooking. Everyone’s been ripping the piss out of how much banana bread has been baked over the past year, but I’ve been making vegan banana cupcakes with CBD and chocolate (when it’s my time of the month, I crave chocolate), which are delicious. I really miss Mexican restaurants, so I’ve been trying to do breakfast burritos. I can’t wait to go to a Mexican restaurant with my girlfriends and have a bunch of gorgeous margaritas!

I just finished watching The Bold Type on Netflix. I got through the whole thing in like two weeks, which I don’t think was very healthy, but it tackled some really important female issues. I loved Behind Her Eyes, with Eve Hewson, but I was also quite frightened. Eve’s sister Jordan is one of my closest friends, so I was chatting to her the whole way through, and she was like, ‘Don’t, I’m having nightmares.’ If your own sister is having nightmares, that means you’re an incredible actress.

I’m a huge fan of a bubble bath and I always put magnesium and bath salts in. At the moment, I’m doing a bit of a cocktail of Himalayan sea salt and Dead Sea salt – it’s like balancing things from the highest point to the lowest point on the planet. I go between cleansers. I just started using this really wonderful turmeric brightening and exfoliating mask from Miranda Kerr’s label Kora Organics. I’ve swapped to Wild deodorant because I think it’s nice to use. Thanks to lockdown, I’ve just been much more conscious about the stuff that I’m putting into, and using on, my body.

I do transcendental meditation every day – 20 minutes, without fail. It’s coming up to my eight-year anniversary of when I first learned. You’re supposed to do it twice a day. I was doing so well, first lockdown, I always did my second one, but this time I seem to be a bit distracted. I’ve been exercising three or four times a week. I’m a huge fan of the Move Your Frame website because I think their on-demand classes have literally saved my lockdowns.

I need my sleep. When I don’t sleep, I find daily tasks so much more difficult. My perfect amount is eight hours. And I always wake up once in the night, so if I can sleep all the way through, it’s an absolute miracle. I’ve been reading a little bit before bed and that’s something I do on and off, because sometimes I’m naughty and I just want to watch telly. I just started reading Untamed by Glennon Doyle. It has been recommended to me by so many people and it’s really beautiful.

Daisy’s Time Of The Month cupcake recipe (vegan banana and chocolate) is now on the official AddCBD website: addCBD.co.uk.
