Actually, Daisy - who we have become obsessed with due to her super-cool portrayal of Marianne - is dating another actor. Somebody you might recognise from Game of Thrones.
The actress is dating Tom Varey, who played Cley Cerwyn in the hit HBO series. The pair were spotted going for a stroll over the weekend, as they spend lockdown together with housemates in London. It’s not known exactly how long the couple have been together for, but it’s believed they met on the set of 2018 film Pond Life.
Daisy recently spoke about to Grazia about what it was like to film the sex scenes in Normal People, which viewers have praised for being realistic and consensual_. 'Normal People_ wasn’t my first sex scene, I’d done a very PC one before and it was a very small scene, so I had an idea but not at the level to which we did things on Normal People,' she said. _'_Luckily I got on really well with Paul [Mescal, who plays Connell Waldron] so it was fine; if anything it was funny because you have to laugh or you’d cry and they are so ridiculous.'
'There are some really special, unique moment,' she added. 'Particularly Marianne and Connell’s 'first time' scene, because I’ve never seen a scene like it, which starts with two people sat in a room being all awkward, to the whole development into the sex itself. It’s healthy to see things in that very real way, it’s not shying away from the subject.'
