When news of their split emerged last week, sources said the break-up between Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas was amicable, but is it ever really? Apparently, this one actually was not.
Cressida is now reportedly on compassionate leave from work after splitting with the Prince, who is said to be sending her at least 15 texts a day.
Word is that Cressida dumped Harry when she found out she wasn’t invited to a partyat a Miami nightclub in advance of Guy Pelly’s marriage to Lizzy Wilson in Tennessee over the weekend.
Cressida was supposed to fly to Miami, but cancelled her flight when she found out there was a ‘boys only’ party happening during the beach break before everyone decamped to Memphis for the celebration. She was not into the idea of being left behind at the hotel while the boys went to some nightclub. We feel you, sister.
For his part, Harry’s been behaving very respectably on his Stateside trip. He’s not been acting laddish at all. He’s probably mindful of what Cressida will read in the press and doesn’t want to risk losing her for good.
According to the Daily Mail, everyone expects them to get back together. A source close to the couple told the paper: ‘When I last saw them they were nuts about each other – there was no indication of them being unhappy or about to split. That they should do so suddenly feels very incongruous. They had a row, but we don’t expect this to be a permanent split. They were very genuinely deeply in love.'
