Can you believe it's been more than twenty years since Coyote Ugly hit UK cinemas? In the years since, the film about Violet, a 21-year-old pursuing her dream of musical stardom, who ends up working at bar Coyote Ugly with a group of mischievous female employees, has since become a cult hit. And now, we can rewatch to our heart's content thanks to the film's arrival on Disney +.
If you're a major fan, then good news: Tyra Banks - who stars in the film briefly - has been pushing for a sequel... although it might not be what we expect. Star of the film Piper Perabo said earlier this year, 'We hit a roadblock. I can’t say what it is. But there’s an alternate idea. I also can’t say what that is, but I like the alternate better than the original idea. I also have a lot of faith in Tyra Banks. I mean, if you don’t trust Tyra to get something done, you’re missing the boat.'
