On Monday,Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker surprised the world when they tied the knot in Las Vegas – but true Keeping up With The Kardashian fans will remember she nearly did the same with ex Scott Disickin 2007.
During season one episode six (major throwback) of the hit reality show, the Kardashian-Jenner family went on a one of their classic family vacations to none other than, Las Vegas. Whilst they were out there, the young couple impulsively decided to tie the knot at A Little White Chapel. Kourtney – who was 28 years old at the time – was all dressed up in her white gown and veil, but she soon started getting cold feet.
She admitted, 'This feels really rushed but I guess I’m about to get married.’ She continued to ponder on her decision. 'I feel like we just woke up and haven’t had a second to think about this, ' she added.
Momager Kris Jennerwas also on hand to share her concerns with her eldest daughter. She told her, ‘This is wrong. You’ve got hot pink flowers and you’re standing under plastic roses. I know you.’
She continued,' It’s not about the things. I don’t mean to make it about that, but this feels wrong - you're rushing it. [Caitlyn Jenner ] isn’t here, your little sisters [Kendall and Kylie Jenner] aren’t here. They would die if they thought they weren’t your bridesmaids. Where is Scott’s family? This is about family!’
After some back and forth between them, Kourtney pulled the plug on their impromptu Las Vegas wedding. 'I think maybe mum’s right,' she said to camera. ‘This feels so rushed and just not right. I never really thought about what my wedding would be but this is certainly not it.’ Oh how times have changed! The reality star now deems it to be the prefect location - as she tied the knot with her the Blink 182’s drummer after the Grammy Awards.
The mum of three finally got her long overdue happily ever when she met Travis Barker. After a whirlwind nine month romance, Travis planned a lavish proposal filled with roses and candles at a 5 star beach resort in Montecito, California. Of course the Kardashian siblings were in attendance with E! reporting sightings of Kim Kardashian,Khloe Kardashian and on-off boyfriend Tristan Thompson. Travis Barker's children were also in attendance at the romantic engagement.
We now know their engagement was filmed for their brand new Hulu show The Kardashians. So, we wonder if the Las Vegas wedding will also feature on the new show too...
