We’ve been seeing pictures of Cindy Crawford’s crazily-photogenic teen kids quite a bit recently, and it’s clear that if these two ever decided to enter a career in fashion they would instantly be a really big deal.
The pair have created an Instagram account in which 13-year-old Kaia poses and 15-year-old Presley takes the photos, and one thing is certain: she has the looks and he has the talent. He actually also has the looks too, but his pictures are actually really, really good.
The whole idea is quite genius, a brother-sister photographer-muse relationship, played out through the very modern medium of Instagram.
So far the shots show Kaia in various locations and outfits that seem to be self-styled, although a few pieces have definitely been pulled from her mum’s extensive closet. The @kbyp Instagram is separate to their personal accounts, which indicates they are looking on this as a potentially lucrative business thing, and based the pictures we have a feeling that this pair will be tapped to model and shoot a fashion campaign any second now.
Cindy’s been asked many times about the possibility of Kaia becoming a model like her mum, and although she let her star in a Young Versace campaign at the age of 10, Cindy thought she had a few more years before Kaia would really want to get into it.
‘At this point, she's too young to pursue a career,’ Cindy told Daily Front Row in 2012. ‘There aren't even a handful of jobs for a 10-year-old girl. But if she's 17 and wants to try it ... of course, what can I say? She’s really into singing and acting. She kind of jokingly said — I'm not even sure if it was jokingly — 'I might model first because you don't have to know how to do anything, but then I want to be a baby nurse.'
