Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding attracted attention for all sorts of reasons – from the OTT white dress code, to the star-studded guest list – every detail of which, was captured on Instagram for our viewing pleasure.
But one thing we may have missed was the beef Chrissy Teigen had with her musician hubby John Legend – a row which took place right before John sang for the happy couple.
In a new video posted to Kim’s Inncer Circle blog Chrissy spilled the beans, telling Kim, ‘John and I got in THE biggest fight that you have ever seen in your whole life.
‘You know when you think everything’s about you? I was like “We ruined the wedding and everyone noticed” and everyone’s like “No, not really, nobody noticed”. Oh my gosh.’
And it turns out they weren’t the only ones. 'I feel like there were so many fights at our wedding,' said Kim cryptically. 'Everyone was so wasted from the Versailles night,' she added. (The pair had an opulent pre-wedding party at the palace of Versailles before jetting off to Florence for the wedding.)
Chrissy went on to say at the time that everyone praised her husband for his gorgeous rendition of his hit song 'All of Me', which only infuriated her further. 'I remember standing with your mom and being so mad at him and everyone was like: "He's so amazing, isn't he amazing?" and I was like, "NO!",' she giggled.
In an amusing parallel, however, Kim then revealed that she and Kanye have had their fair share of inter-marital strife, citing a memorable row during the wedding of none other than Chrissy and John!
‘I got into a fight with Kanye during your wedding when... I didn't go because [North] was just born and I was so fat and I was like "I have nothing to wear" and so then he kept texting me being like, "Babe this is the most beautiful wedding", "Babe this is so pretty, I really wish you were here at Lake Como" and this...’ said Kim.
'Then he's, like, telling me that like, "And Stevie Wonder sang," - literally a text - like, a play by play text,' Kim added.
'You got FOMO?' Chrissy asked.
'And I was like - I - we got into the biggest fight,' Kim continued, 'I was like just stop texting me - go enjoy the wedding, cause you're making me feel so bad, and I'm so fat!'
Chrissy went on to say, 'He was so cute at the wedding, he kept filming everything,' to which an unimpressed Kim responded: 'Yeah - and he was sending it to me right after!'
How very frustrating for them – though neither lady should worry. Because let's face it, many of us have been there...
