However dire the political situation, Chrissy Teigen never fails to provide some light relief. Case in point: yesterday the queen of relatable content shared her view on the current Brexit debacle.
Much like the rest of the UK population, Teigen is a little confused about what exactly is going on (it’s hard to keep up but this is the latest if you’re interested).
Soon after vote of no confidence was announced, Teigen tweeted her difficulty in understanding the situation.
In a second tweet she summarised the current mess quite succinctly.
Other celebrities chimed in with ex GBBO presenter Sue Perkins tweeting in reply: “Don't worry, we can't grasp it either…”
She even shared her take on the mace (essentially a ceremonial gold stick that is symbolic of royal authority) that was grabbed by Labour politician Lloyd Russell-Moyle in parliament earlier this week.
When journalist Sara Gibbs gave her take on how the weird and wonderful British electoral system works for those Americans struggling to get their head round it. Naturally, Chrissy was humoured by the explanation and retweeted for all her followers to see.
Yep, it’s in these moments that we’re all grateful for the invention of Twitter.
