Chris Brown has found himself back in prison today, after he was arrested for an alleged probation violation related to his conviction for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

The 24-year-old rapper was taken into custody yesterday afternoon in LA, American news outlets have reported. Brown had been undergoing anger management therapy for four months in Malibu, by order of a judge after he was accused of assaulting Parker Adams in October last year.

The reported attack on Parker violated his probation stemming from the violent assault on Rihanna in 2009.

However, if Brown left the rehab facility for any reason other than pre-organised and permitted, than he would be arrested. And on Friday morning, Brown was ejected from the centre for violating 'internal rules.'

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department released a statement which read: 'The warrant was issued related to assault with a deadly weapon and criminal threats crimes which occurred on February 7, 2009, in the city of Los Angeles.'
