Cheryl and Liam Payne's relationship has surely been one of the most unexpected pieces of celebrity romance news of the last decade (see also: Elon Musk and Grimes and James Arthur and Rita Ora).
The couple sadly broke up in in July of this year, but that doesn't mean we're any less obsessed with their two-and-a-half-year relationship.
And we're not ashamed to say that the news Cheryl is releasing a break-up song about the fallout of their relationship has truly, truly made our week.
The track is said to be named Love Made Me Do It, and will document her past relationships - including the most recent one with Payne.
A source told The Sun: “It is a very edgy pop-dance track and not a typical song which you would expect from Cheryl.
“She’s not holding back on her feelings and inevitably it will lead to a lot of speculation.”
The track is said to feature lyrics along the lines of the fact that she's a 'sucker' as she 'falls in love' with 'every f----r'. Blimey.
This news is particularly groundbreaking (ahem) due to the fact that, bar their official statement back in July, the pair have publicly remained tight-lipped about their split.
So those of us who've eagerly followed their relationship since day one and need answers (guilty), are expecting big things.
Cheryl and Liam got together in 2015, and share 18-month old son Bear together. She opted not to announce the birth while expecting (leading to intense media speculation), instead announcing the news on Instagram soon after he was born.
She wrote: "On Wednesday 22nd March Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy baby boy, weighing 7lb 9 and looking like a dream. Although he still doesn't have a name he is already stealing hearts.
"We are all madly in love and overwhelmingly happy with our little arrival. Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers around the world. A day that now has a different meaning to me forever 💙".
