After belting out Lady Gaga's Shallow on the London Underground, Charlotte Awbery quickly became the Queen of The Internet. (Even Ariana Grande follows her!) But now the singer truly is an international star, as she just appeared on Ellen Degeneres to sing the song that shot her to fame. (She also received a year-long pass for free travel on the Underground and £10,000 from the host - nice work.)

We are completely obsessed - and so are 60 million other people, who have since watched the original video when she was approached by YouTuber Kevin Freshwater and asked to finish the lyrics of Lady Gaga's and Bradley Cooper's Oscar-winning duet from the film A Star is Born.

Charlotte, who looks as though she's literally just had a voluminous blow dry and stepped out of the Nineties film Sliding Doors (a film which centres around the underground, the irony), starts singing tentatively, but after some encouragement, she confidently belts out the chorus, with the lyrics: 'I am of the deep end, watch as I dived in, I will never meet the ground. Crashes through the surface, where they can't hurt us, we are far from the shallow now.'

While others were blindsided by Kevin's game, which is called Finish the Lyrics, Charlotte took the challenge by storm. Twitter users were quick to applaud her performance, which has 7.1 million views : 'The lady at the end gave me goosebumps. Amazing voice,' one user wrote, while another added: 'literally flawless.' Some quipped that she was deserving of the Oscar, while others were taken aback at just how chic she looked while commuting.

Charlotte, who is a singer by trade, now has 544,000 followers on Instagram. Surely a record label and a Grammy will follow? Now that's a blockbuster in the making. A star is born, indeed.
