The couple surprised everyone with their reunion merely one month after their split, but it seems like things are stronger than ever for the Magic Mike star and the British singer, as they appeared on the red carpet together for a pre-Grammys Gala.
They celebrated their reunion at an Aerosmith concert in LA, with their debut as a couple on the red carpet, and a couple of bonus Instagram posts to declare their love as well.
Channing isn’t usually one for a PDA on Instagram, preferring to keep his love life private, and who can blame him after a troll commented that he looked better with his ex-wife Jenna Dewan.
He came to girlfriend Jessie J’s defence by replying: “Why don’t you seriously think about what you’re doing. It’s hurtful and I ain’t about it. If you can’t not be a horrible hateful person on my page and support the infinite and untouchable beauty that Jess is… Please kindly get TF out of here.”
After adding: “Ain’t nobody more stunning and beautiful to look at but even more as a human than Jess. And yeah, that includes my ex.” He then clarified that “Jenna is beautiful and amazing in her own right. But no, and I mean no [one] is more beautiful or better than anyone else. Beauty isn’t measurable. It’s in the eye of the beholder.”
He then disabled the comments on Instagram picture.
Channing met his ex-wife on the set of their first film together, Step Up, in 2006. The couple married in 2009 and have a daughter together, Everly, but split in 2018. Since the split, he has been dating Jessie J and Jenna is now pregnant with her boyfriend, Steve Kazee.
It has been reported that the divorce details have been finalised and Channing and Jenna have agreed to a 50/50 custody arrangement.
