To any man, woman or child running or walking the marathon today, we salute you.
While the majority of us nursing sore heads after brunching too hard on a Saturday afternoon, 40,000 actual super humans have set their alarms for 5am all ready for a day of pounding the streets of London - 26.2 miles of them to be exact. Months, even years, of training have been leading up to this day.
And while we're always in awe of every single person running the marathon today, we're always gobsmacked by how many well-known faces are amongst them. This year, we've got Ian actual Beale of EastEnders fame, presenter Helen Skelton running for the (third!!) time and funnyman Ed Gamble.
Someone get them all a bottle of Prosecco, pronto.
