Beyoncé just proved that she is the ultimate trendsetter.

Ever since she announced that she is pregnant with twins (in only a way Beyoncé could get away with), more and more celebrities have debuted their growing baby bumps. Though admittedly, minus the netted veil and floral surroundings the singer chose for her carefully curated photoshoot...

Just yesterday, Amal and George Clooney welcomed twins.

While Madonna declared that she too will welcome home twins after adopting two girls from Malawi. The 58-year-old singer confirmed the news via Instagram a few weeks ago:

Madonna captioned the sweet snap: "I can officially confirm I have completed the process of adopting twin sisters from Malawi and am overjoyed that they are now part of our family. I am deeply grateful to all those in Malawi who helped make this possible, and I ask the media please to respect our privacy during this transitional time. Thank you also to my friends, family and my very large team for all your support and love!"

But it got us thinking, which other celebrities are parents to twin offspring?

We've rounded up the A-listers Beyoncé, Madonna and Amal can seek advice from below:

Angelina Jolie

'Bradxit' was the most unanticipated celebrity break-up the world has ever seen and tipped 2016 to be one of the worst years to date for the A-list scene. But Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt share an adorable brood which of course includes twins. The estranged couple have six children together, three of which were adopted.

On March 10, 2002 Angelina adopted her first child from Battambang, Cambodia. Born Rath Vobol, Jolie and former husband Billy Bob Thornton renamed him Maddox. The couple divorced three months later.

The actress then adopted a daughter named Zahara Marley from Ethiopia on July 6, 2005. Angelina and Brad had decided to adopt from the country after first visiting earlier that year. In May the following year, the actress gave birth to her first biological child, Shiloh Nouvel.

In 2007, Angelina went on to adopt three-year-old Pax Thien from an orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

But it was at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2008, that Jolie confirmed that she was expecting biological twins. The couple named their children Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline. The first images of the twins were sold to People and Hello! for a reported $14 million, making them the most expensive celebrity photos ever taken.

Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey and former husband Nick Cannon welcomed twins on 30 April, which also happened to be their wedding anniversary. Surely something even Mariah couldn't plan in advance?

The twins both received names beginning with an 'M', in honour of their mother, perhaps? Morocco and Monroe are now four years of age.

Sarah Jessica Parker
