She may not have even had chance to celebrate her 15th birthday yet but Catherine Zeta-Jones’s daughter, Carys Zeta Douglas, is already a fashion muse in her own right.
On Sunday evening, the teen joined her film star mum for the final stretch of Dolce and Gabbana’s ‘Alta Moda’ show. And in true twinning fashion, the mother-daughter duo pulled out all the sartorial stops.
The pair arrived at the New York Metropolitan Opera House hand-in-hand and despite their 34-year age gap, demonstrated the fine art of fashion twinning with ease.
For the star-studded event, Zeta-Jones donned a lace gown by the Italian label. Meanwhile, her teenage daughter further cemented Generation Z’s reigning sartorial status in a cold-shoulder top by the fashion house.
Accessorised with co-ordinating shoes and mirrored locks, the pair undoubtedly turned heads. But it’s interesting to note, that it’s not the mother-daughter duo’s first fashion event together.
In an industry dominated by the Beckham clan and Hadid sisters, Insta-fame is seemingly something left up to an A-list family's genes so it was only a matter of time until Carys made a name for herself in the fashion sphere.
Last season, the 14-year-old joined Zeta-Jones on the FROW at Michael Kors making Dolce and Gabbana’s latest extravaganza a natural milestone for a celebrity teen. Right?
Armed with over 45,600 Instagram followers and already boasting a series of Fashion Week shows under her belt, Carys Zeta Douglas is certainly a name to remember.
