Cara Delevingne

She's not one for convention is our Cara. In fact, she very much appears to enjoy bucking the trend.

So, it should come as no surprise that following her announcement last year that she was quitting modelling, she has now done a complete 180 turn on affairs by appearing in a sizzling shoot for Saint Laurent.

Via a series of smoldering black and white shots, Cara is revealed to be the new face of Saint Laurent's La Collection De Paris couture collection.

Saint Laurent announced the news through Twitter, posting the pictures of Cara, revealing they were shot in New York earlier this month.

In another Tweet, they reminded that Cara's first shoot for the fashion house was in 2013, when creative director Hedi Slimane released his very first collection.

What was Cara's response to this alleged 'comeback'?

Assuredly this:

She then documented the shoot herself via Instagram, captioning each snap with a typical Delevingne witticism...

And also...

Whether this new campaign marks her absolute return to modelling, or whether it's just a one-off, remains to be seen.

Either way, we're glad we'll be seeing her face around and about again because, in all honesty, we've rather missed it!
