Finally! against all the odds, the A-list has produced a celesbian couple that doesn’t feature Kristen Stewart. Last week, sources confirmed to Grazia that Cara Delevingne had moved on from her on/off relationship with St Vincent singer Annie Clark and is now ‘casually’ dating Paris Jackson.
According to one well-placed insider, the pair have become inseparable after Cara, 25, was introduced to Paris, 19-year- old daughter of the late Michael Jackson, at the MTV Awards last May. In the months since, they have travelled together to London, Italy and the Czech Republic, where Cara has been filming her new Amazon series Carnival Row.
‘They’re trying to keep it quite casual, but they are clearly smitten,’ said the source. ‘Paris has only ever dated guys before this, and doesn’t really want to put a label on it, which is one of the reasons why they’re taking it quite slowly for now. Cara was heartbroken when things ended with St Vincent and, for a while, it seemed like they might give it another go so, for the time being, she’s happy just having fun and seeing what happens.’
Last week, Paris posted an Instagram birthday message to her ex, musician Michael Snoddy, after they ended things in February last year. She has previously been linked to soccer player Chester Castellaw, 90210’s Trevor Donovan and TOWIE star Tom Kilbey. Meanwhile, Cara split from St Vincent in 2015 after dating for a year, before briefly reconciling in 2017. Prior to that, she dated Harry Styles and Michelle Rodriguez.
‘Cara and Paris feel like kindred spirits,’ said the source. ‘They both had difficult childhoods and have enjoyed opening up to each other about their personal struggles. They also share similar ambitions and there’s a lot of crossover in their interests. While Paris is making headway in the modelling world [she was recently unveiled in a Calvin Klein campaign alongside Millie Bobby Brown], Cara is focusing on her singing career, alongside acting. Obviously Paris comes from a musical dynasty and they have been having fun working on music together.’ The Jackson/ Delevingne triple threat could have a huge impact on the entertainment world, continued the source: ‘As Cara is already an established name in fashion and acting, they have all bases covered, and could well become the A-list’s next big power couple.
