Have you ever had a meltdown because security routinely checked your luggage before boarding? I mean, who *hasn't, *amirite?
Model and now movie star Cara Delevingne was detained for an hour by Eurostar staff, for refusing to let them check her luggage, like… what? Said to be travelling back to London for her sister’s birthday blowout, Cara’s bag was put through a ‘routine’ security check last week. Ok, so nothing strange here. However apparently Cara was said to have had a major meltdown about the whole thing.
Apparently the outburst broke out in the middle of Paris' Gare du Nord station’s security. Cara, who was travelling with her agent reportedly shouted ‘let him do his f**king job, it’s ridiculous’ to a member of security, despite her agents attempts to calm her down. Onlookers described the incident as a ‘full-on meltdown’, and one bystander even overheard the star scream ‘f*ck you’ at members of security - talk about your F bombs.
Cara was later detained by French security, following which an officer explained that patience was wearing thin amongst the officers regarding celebrities. He explained to The Sun that celebrities often act as if they are above the law and says, 'They need to learn they have to be treated the same as everyone else.' I agree pal, we should all be in first class.
The Suicide Squad star later returned with red eyes following the interrogation and narrowly escaped charges with a fine for verbal assault.
Though it’s not all bad, Cara was nice enough to apologise to Eurostar staff following her outburst and before boarding her train – good on ya’ Cara.
