One of the coolest celebrity couples - Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson - have reportedly parted ways after two years together. The pair are thought to have split at the beginning of April, with an insider telling People that the relationship is over as they quarantine apart from each other. ‘Cara and Ashley always had their ups and down before but it's over now,’ the source said. ‘Their relationship just ran its course.’
The supermodel and the Pretty Little Liars star first sparked dating rumours in August 2018 when they were spotted kissing at Heathrow Airport, but did not confirm their relationship until a year later, as they shared a sweet snap to mark both their one-year anniversary and the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. They were even married by an Elvis Presley impersonator in Las Vegas last year, although sources later confirmed it wasn't legally binding.
'It just feels incredible when you're not alone, when you're facing the world with someone else,' Cara told Elle after she had confirmed their relationship. 'I don't want to be so secretive that people think I'm ashamed of anything. But I've never been in a relationship where things are so public, or where I posted pictures of someone else. This seemed different. We had gotten to the point where we had kept it a secret, or at least not wanted attention, and now I feel like I'm not going to not be proud.'
The couple met on the set of Alex Ross Perry’s Her Smell film in 2018, and Cara has previously admitted that she wasn’t looking for love at the time. ‘We weren’t looking for it,’ she said. ‘It was really just very authentic and natural.’
