Last month, the internet lost its entire mind at the news that Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson were engaged, so imagine what everyone is going to make of the news that they might have actually tied the knot in a ceremony in Vegas over the weekend?
According to reports, the pair - who have been dating for over a year and only just confirmed their relationship for Pride month - said their marriage vows earlier this year at the famous Little White Chapel in Las Vegas. They apparently paid £245 for the ceremony, were surrounded by their pals (including Sophie Turner and Charlize Theron) and posed for their first snaps as newlyweds in a pink Cadillic. They both apparently wore black, with Ashley wearing heels and carrying a bouquet of blooms.
But, making us even more confused, according toE! News that the pair are not legally married - and no marriage licence exists for them in Las Vegas public records. They did, however, reportedly have a friendship ceremony.
Little White Chapel owner Michelle told the _Sun on Sunday, '_They were sure about what they are doing and they were sure about what they mean to each other.
'They were clearly devoted to each other and they had the biggest smiles on their faces.
'You could see that they were serious about what they were doing but having the most fun. They wanted it simple, quiet and easy.'
As the news dropped, the internet reacted accordingly, gushing that the pair are the 'cutest couple to ever exist'.
But Ashley's mum, Shannon Benson, later wrote on Instagram, 'How easy it is for so many of us today to be undoubtedly full of information yet fully deprived of accurate information.'
